Market activity remains strong, especially in the Comox Valley where house sales for the month of June were up by 25% over last June.  The strength in this sector is complemented with the sale of improved acreages up 8%, lots up 12%, and waterfront homes up 13%.

In Campbell River the annual house sales volume is up 4%, with a 5% increase in the average price to $313,632.  Once again, active market conditions are reflected in other sectors.  Sales volumes for apartment condos are up 35% in sales for the month of June compared to last June.  Perhaps more significant is the dramatic increase in lot sales; up 29% for the past 12 months.  The average price has increased 20% to $132,466,
