Condo Market on the Move
In the Comox Valley, the end of August Vancouver Island Real Estate Board stats for all three Condo Market sectors – Apartment, Patio Home and Townhouse are “up” compared to last year. Not only are the dollar volumes of sales higher across the board, but the average prices are up as well. Apartment condos show the greatest increase, up 16% in average sale price. The average stands at $210,004 based on 117 sales. The sales volume is up 46% compared to last year.
In the Campbell River Market, only the dollar volume of sales in the Apartment condo sector is down; 9% to $8.8 million. Sales volumes are up for Patio homes and Townhouses. Average Prices are up in all three sectors. Apartment and townhouse prices are both up 15%.
